Loose leaf is traditionally handled with a gilder’s tip (a flat natural-hair brush) for precise placement, clean overlap control, and minimal waste on detailed work.

Patent Gold (Transfer Leaf) — 12kt White Patent Gold leaf, also called transfer leaf, is mounted to a special tissue paper using a pressure process. Each leaf-and-tissue unit is interleaved with thin rouged paper, so you can remove single sheets cleanly and consistently. Transfer leaf provides added control, making it ideal for larger areas, straight runs, smooth substrates, and situations where easier handling is preferred.
