Made from pure silver, the metal is traditionally beaten into ultra-thin sheets—approximately 0.5 microns thick—producing a brilliant, flexible leaf suitable for fine art, decorative, and restoration applications. Our range includes loose and patent leaf, rolls for large surfaces, shell silver, silver powder, and decorative silver foil.
Each pack of silver leaf contains 20 books, with 25 leaves per book, for a total of 500 leaves per pack. Individual leaves measure 3 3/8" × 3 3/8", providing approximately 39 square feet of coverage per pack and 1.7 square feet per book.
Silver leaf is offered in a variety of gram weights to suit different handling preferences and project requirements. Gram weight is determined by the weight of 1,000 leaves measuring 3 3/8" square, allowing you to select the ideal balance of durability and finesse.
