Shell Silver
Shell Silver is pure Silver powder, which is suspended in gum arabic and then dried into tablet size watercolor style cakes.
Ideal for calligraphy, illumination and other painting techniques, as well as for retouching gold work on paintings, frames and gilded surfaces.
Similar to using watercolor tablets, Shell Silver is wetted with a brush and can then be painted into small detail areas. Shell Silver dissolves easily in water.
